ipodsThe Library now offers MP3 format for downloadable audio books at our eBooks to Go (OverDrive) site which work with iPods and MAC computers.

With OverDrive Media Console for Mac, OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks can now be downloaded and enjoyed on Macs. The built-in Burn Wizard can be used to burn MP3 Audiobooks to CD, and the Transfer Wizard allows quick and easy transfer to Apple® devices. Attend the History Resource Center : US and World  online training session to learn how to navigate the new interface and review product enhancements. During this course, participants in the session will:

  • Review the general content available in the History Resource Center database
  • Construct and employ efficient search strategies for information retrieval
  • Examine navigational and search features of the database interface
  • Differentiate between basic, person, subject, chronological and advanced search options
  • Recognize how to use Email, InfoMarks and Marked Lists as a way to manage and organize information found within the database
