What is the Foundation Center?
The Foundation Center was established in 1956 and is a national non-profit service organization recognized as the nation’s leading authority on organized philanthropy. The Center maintains the most comprehensive database on U.S. funders and their grants.
At Clark County Library we provide information from the Foundation Center on charitable foundations, corporate givers and sources of funding for non-profit groups. The collection includes:
- Directories
- Books
- Periodicals
- Online Databases – there is a computer available for non-profits wishing to use the databases for funding related research.
