Did you know the State of Nevada provides research databases for all residents? Every two years librarians from school districts, public libraries, academic libraries and special libraries in Nevada work together to select databases for all Nevadans to use. These databases include general magazine and newspapers as well a subject specific areas such as Science or Business. There is something for everyone!
To use the databases all you need is a library card from a Nevada library. Each library in the state should have a link to them or you can go straight to Nevada State Archives and Libraries database access.
We at The Librarian’s Brain provide easy access to the State Databases from our page just select the Statewide Database link on the right side bar. What’s unique about this link is you can search all the databases at once or customize your search by checking off only those databases you want to include in the search or go directly to the database by selecting the database’s name.
